Q: How is Florida Stucco deck finish applied?

Deck finish can be dash applied or trowel textured, depending on the look and the surface feel wanted. Dash application produces a more textured surface. Trowel texturing produces a tighter, more worked finish. The choice affects both appearance and how the deck feels underfoot, so review samples of each.

Q: Will my deck color match the sample exactly?

Not exactly. Base coat thickness, surface texture, weather during application and the application method all change how strongly a color reads, and colored cement is never a precise match to a printed chip. Study actual material samples of finish, color and texture together before confirming your selection.

Q: Where can Florida Stucco deck finish be used?

Deck finish is used on pool decks, patios, spas and walkways over a properly prepared base. It is a decorative coating rather than a structural product, so the condition and preparation of the underlying slab determine how well it performs. Installation is handled by the plastering contractor.
